Cancellation & Refund Policy – Jhalana Leopard Reserve Safari Booking

Please read carefully before booking your safari with Wild Trails India.

Thank you for choosing Wild Trails India for your Jhalana Leopard Reserve safari experience. Since safari bookings are regulated by the Forest Department of Rajasthan, strict rules apply. This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and booking changes are handled.

By booking a safari with us, you agree to the following terms.

1. No Cancellation or Refund on Confirmed Bookings

All Jhalana Leopard Reserve safari bookings are 100% non-refundable.

Once a booking is confirmed, no cancellation, refund, transfer, or modification is allowed under any circumstances.

This applies to:

  • Jeep Safari bookings
  • E-Vehicle Safari bookings
  • All zones (Zone 1, Zone 2, Shikhar Hodi)

2. Non-Transferable Bookings

  • Safari bookings cannot be transferred to another person.
  • The ID used during booking must match the visitor entering the park.
  • If ID details do not match, entry will be denied with no refund.

3. Park Closure or Operational Changes

Safari operations are fully controlled by the Forest Department. They may:

  • Change safari timings
  • Close the park temporarily
  • Restrict certain zones
  • Cancel safaris due to weather, VIP movement, or safety reasons

Refund is not guaranteed in these cases.

If the Forest Department issues a refund to us, we will pass it to you (after deducting payment gateway or administrative charges).

If no refund is provided by the department, Wild Trails India cannot issue any refund.

4. Change in Government Fees or Occupancy

If the Forest Department changes safari charges or if occupancy is incomplete, visitors must pay the difference amount at the entry gate.

Failure to pay may result in denied entry without refund.

5. Incomplete Safari or On-Ground Issues

Wild Trails India is not responsible for issues such as:

  • Vehicle breakdowns or flat tires
  • Guide/driver behaviour
  • Shortened safari duration
  • Route restrictions
  • Wildlife sightings (not guaranteed)

No refund or compensation will be provided for these situations.

6. Convenience Fee – Non-Refundable

A service/convenience fee of ₹1500 to ₹10,000 per Jeep/E-Vehicle is charged for booking assistance.

This fee is non-refundable in all cases.

7. Shikhar Hodi Zone Policy

Shikhar Hodi is not part of standard bookings.

An additional ₹1500 must be paid to include this zone.

This amount is non-refundable once paid.

8. On-Spot Booking Option

Visitors may choose to book safaris directly at the Forest Department ticket counter.

  • We do not control availability
  • We do not control pricing
  • We do not control zone allotment

9. Acceptance of Policy

By booking a safari with Wild Trails India:

  • You agree to all terms listed in this policy.
  • You acknowledge that safari operations are regulated by the Forest Department.
  • You understand that no cancellation or refund will be processed once the booking is confirmed.
